Christopher Burch is the CEO and Founder of Burch Creative Capital. Burch Creative Capital is a New York firm that manages venture investments and brand development. He has a background in a wide range of industries. Some of these industries are fashion, technology, and real estate. Chris attended Itchica College to obtain his undergraduate degree. While still in school he and his brother Robert started Eagle’s Eye apparel. He started small by going door to door on campus selling sweaters. Not soon afterwards was his business expanded. He expanded to other campuses and eventually to retail stores. In 1989 he partially sold the company to Swire group and by 1998 sold the entire company. Chris also assisted his ex wife Tory Burch open her fashion label in 2004. In 2008 he established J. Christopher Capital LLC. He later renamed the company Burch Creative Capital. He launched C. Wonder which is an apparel, accessories and home decor retailer in 2011. In 2015 he sold it to Xcel Brands. Burch also assisted with the development of the Faena Hotel+Universe in Buenos Aires. In 2006 Burch founded J.B. Christopher, a supplier of construction materials to real estate developers.
Chris Burch also has other achievements. He was a producer for the romantic comedy film called Watch It. He is an investor for Voss water. He acquired Nihiwatu Resort in 2013, and assisted Ellen DeGeneres launch her lifestyles collection E.D. Chris is so successful because he understands that fashion is constantly changing. People are being to add technology to fashion. He states these two things together creates energy. “Technology not only creates beautiful fashions but helps in creating functional fashions as well”, states Chris Burch.
